05. unless otherwise stated, i make everything for my blog. my psd is from supersources, carrd is by somresources (although it has been heavily edited by myself). textures are found in texture packs around tumblr, or are made in photoshop by myself. please do not take anything you see, including taking inspiration.
06. whilst i make every attempt to tag every trigger (trigger tw), i may miss some. i apologise deeply for this. my triggers are animal abuse, and general out of character medical things! i will strive to reblog anything that needs signal boosting, regardless of whether we are mutuals.

ellie williams was born in the boston quarantine zone, six years after outbreak day. her mother was anna williams, a nurse that died just after giving birth from the cordyceps brain infection, and an unknown father. as an orphan, ellie was taken in by the military in the qz, and looked over closely by marlene, a member of the fireflies and close friend of her mother. she lives an 'ordinary' life, as ordinary as possible with the world the way it is (she learns to ride a horse, start a car, and shoot a bb gun), until she turns fourteen...in 2033, riley abel (a former military student, current firefly, and ellie's best friend) visits ellie in the middle of the night and the two of them return to the liberty gardens mall, where they spent so much time years ago. the evening ends with an infected horde chasing them through the mall, and both are bitten. although riley succumbs to the infection and dies, ellie never does. she learns she is immune to the virus, although she isn't sure why. what remains is a bite mark on her arm, surrounded by fungus and cysts, and a mutated version of the virus in her brain stem.three weeks later, ellie meets joel miller and Tess, two smugglers, for the first time. she is escorted to a salt lake city st. mary's hospital, a known firefly outpost and the location of the doctor who could potentially make a cure. unfortunately, tess is killed by hunters before a bite to her neck can infect her, and ellie and joel are left to travel to the hospital alone. after a long and arduous journey (the events of which occur during the first game, and won't be noted here in any detail), the two make it to the hospital. ellie, unconscious for the entire visit, wakes a day later in the back of a car heading towards jackson, wyoming (the location of a hydrodam town run by joel's brother and sister-in-law tommy and maria. she is told by joel that they have other immune people, and that they didn't need ellie anymore.***Ellie***: Swear to me. Swear to me that everything you said about the fireflies is true.
***Joel***: I Swear.
***Ellie***: ... Okay.with ellie's immunity supposedly meaning very little anymore, she moves into a house in jackson and tries to move on. doubts begin to develop within her mind about what the truth is, and after confronting joel, she learns that he was dishonest... something she had already known, but needed confirmation of. joel saved her life because finding a cure would kill her. to ellie, he took away her purpose.

PART TWO OPENS FIVE YEARS AFTER THE EVENTS OF THE LAST OF US PART I. ELLIE AND JOEL LIVE IN JACKSON CITY - STILL RUN BY MARIA MILLER AND HER HUSBAND, JOEL'S BROTHER, TOMMY. OVER A SERIES OF FLASHBACKS, WE LEARN WHAT OCCURRED BETWEEN THE END OF PART I AND PART II ...ELLIE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH JOEL BECOMES LESS STRONG OVER THESE FLASHBACKS. TWO YEARS AFTER THE END OF PART I, ELLIE RETURNS TO THE fIREFLY HOSPITAL, AND FINDS OUT THE TRUTH OF HER IMMUNITY, AND WHY SHE WAS TAKEN FROM THE HOSPITAL. THIS CULMINATES IN THE BREAKDOWN OF HER TRUST IN JOEL - THE BEGINNING OF THE END.THE EVENTS OF THE FIRST GAME TIE IN DIRECTLY WITH THE SECOND. THE DOCTOR THAT JOEL KILLS IS THE FATHER OF ABBY ANDERSON, WHO SEEKS TO FIND AND SEEK REVENGE UPON JOEL. SHE SUCCEEDS, AND UPON JOEL'S DEATH, ELLIE DECIDES TO FOLLOW ABBY AND HER FRIENDS TO SEATTLE, TO SEEK HER OWN REVENGE.TOMMY LEAVES FIRST TO GO AFTER THEM, FOLLOWED NOT FAR BEHIND BY ELLIE, DINA, AND EVENTUALLY THEIR FRIEND JESSE. UPON REACHING SEATTLE, THEY SYSTEMATICALLY SEEK AND KILL THE GROUP, ONE BY ONE, AS THEY TRACK ABBY DOWN OVER THREE DAYS. THEY EVENTUALLY COME TOGETHER IN THE THEATRE (THEIR BASE), AND AFTER THE DEATH OF JESSE, AND SEVERE INJURIES TO A PREGNANT DINA, AND TOMMY, THEY RETURN TO JACKSON AND LEAVE ABBY ALIVE.ONE YEAR LATER, ELLIE HAS STILL NOT FOUND CLOSURE. SHE EXPERIENCES PTSD, NIGHT TERRORS, GUILT, AND OTHER EMOTIONS AFFILIATED WITH THE EVENTS OF THE LAST THIRTEEN MONTHS. TOMMY, UNABLE TO GO HIMSELF DUE TO HIS INJURIES, TRACKS DOWN ABBY AND PROVIDES ELLIE WITH THE RENEWED ANGER TO FOLLOW ABBY TO SANTA BARBARA.HER CHASE FINISHES IN THE OCEAN, WHERE SHE AND ABBY FIGHT. ELLIE LOSES TWO FINGERS, ABBY BECOMES INJURED ... BUT THE TWO PART, AFTER ELLIE LETS GO AND FORGIVES.

MODERN, ALTERNATE ... IN HER MODERN TIMELINE, WHERE NO APOCALYPSE HAS OCCURED, ELLIE IS A SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATOR - FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON DISCOVERING AND RECORDING THE EXISTENCE OF NEW FUNGI. SHE LIVES IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, HAS A DOG CALLED BRICK, AND SPENDS MUCH OF HER TIME IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS. HER SPECIALTY IN SCIENCE ILLUSTRATION COULD PLACE HER, IN MOST MODERN/NON-APOC TIMELINES, IN MOST LOCATIONS .. PERHAPS VISITING AND WORKING FOR UNIVERSITIES, OR BRINGING SAMPLES IN AND GETTING CAUGHT UP IN SOMETHING.
